Q. How big do we have to be to benefit from print management?

 

A. If you are spending more than $30,000 p.a. on printing and merchandising material, you can save time and money with print management.

 

Q. How long would it take for our people to understand and use print management?

 

A. New users can be trained and become fully conversant with the online system in 30 minutes. To understand the benefits of the system and know whether it will suit you, only involves a 45 minute introductory presentation in your office.

 

Q. Can we become ‘greener’ as a company by using print management?

 

A. WPM’s goal is to minimise the impact on the environment without increasing the cost to clients. This means selecting the right material, using like-minded suppliers, responsible production and distribution methods, and endeavouring to minimise the overall usage of printed products.

A. WPM works with pre-qualified suppliers and understands what each supplier’s core production strength happens to be. So, right from quoting on work to production and distribution, each supplier gets access to the work best suited to them. This results in a better price, a quality job, and faster turnaround time for WPM clients.

 

Q. Tell me, in principle, how we can save money by using print management.

 

A. WPM does not get involved with a client unless it can confirm the savings in time and money. By making the system faster and more efficient this enables your staff to concentrate on your core business. To confirm what you will save we complete an obligation free Discovery before proceeding.

 

  Q. What KPI's do you measure and how are they reported?\ufeff

 

A.The KPI's measured and reported on are: Cost savings, time savings, lead times and Quality. We conduct regular 6 monthly client reviews where KPI reports are given and client feedback confirms the programme integrity.

 

Q. We often seem to find that we are overstocked with one print item, and constantly running out of another. How do you fix that?

 

A. With accurate reporting of stock levels and identifying high-usage patterns, WPM can anticipate needs automatically. This also involves setting realistic minimum re-order levels that are based on production complexity and having regular monthly stock-takes.

 

Q. Tell me how pre-approved templates work.

 

A. With business cards or letterheads for instance, all the fixed parameters are set and can’t be altered. Any regular changes and additions can be made on screen.

A PDF proof is immediately available for approval, then automatically attached to the order as artwork and sent for production. This means extra-fast turnaround and no requirement for hard copy proofs.
